arbitrary lines is a blog based in Sydney focusing mainly on local music, with the occasional foray into music from other places or, heaven forbid, politics or culture or other things. As the title suggests, I intend to write pretty much arbitrarily about stuff that I encounter and like or find interesting. I’m not paid to write for any publications but I will write a lot about my friends’ bands. Luckily, I’m in the enviable position of having many talented friends.
You’re also in the enviable position of being a talented friend. Fanboys unite.
Hello, i represent a band from Tamworth called ‘Romeros’ that have played alongside Crouching 80′s countless times between 2008-2010 and alongside INTENTIONS on their tour, ‘Romeros’ have a 3 track demo that they recorded last year in November and I was just wondering if you would consider posting it for free download on your blog?

Thank you – Matt Raffaele
Haha, yeah hey Matt we met last night! It’s Simon from Intentions, I run arbitrarylines (which is why there’s a conspicuous absence of writing about our stuff).
I’ll be doing a Tamworth/northwest NSW scene report (of sorts) in a few posts’ time, and Romeros will almost certainly be the first band mentioned.

Hey, Simon! Thanks man! That’s awesome! I look foward to reading
Looking forward to this Tamworth scene report!
it will happen eventually. need a bit more fieldwork. also internet at home.
Hey Si, I wanted an ego trip so I read the review again. Thanks again! just thought I’d ask, if you can edit posts, a better link for listening is http://crouching80shiddenacronym.bandcamp.com/
The triple j one doesn’t actually work because we’re only registered as Crouching 80s, and it only has 3 tracks anyway, bandcamp has the whole EP. And, if it’s cool, could you mention you can download all the tracks individually for free (or whatever you’d like to pay)/if you buy the whole thing (or whatever you’d like to pay, min $4) there’s a bit of extra stuff to recieve?..there’s also newer mixes on the bandcamp if you’re interested.
Thanks a buttload, man. Glad to hear your home soon!
Love, Dean.
